Admissions Policy - Consultation
Malden Parochial C of E Primary school is consulting on proposed changes to admission arrangements for 2023/2024.
We have a statutory duty to consult on admission arrangements if we intend to make a change.
The proposed change’s from the current Admission Policy Oversubscription Criteria is to insert the wording for Criteria (iii) and Note 3.
children of members of staff who have been employed at the school for two or more years at the time of application and will continue to be employed at the school at the point of admission or the member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.
Staff is defined as teaching staff, full or part time and those posts where there is difficulty successfully recruiting specific skilled persons for specified posts.
The consultation on the admission arrangements for Malden Parochial C of E Primary school will run from 29th November 2021 - 24th January 2022.
If you would like to respond to the consultation please do so in writing to Collette Mathias, Clerk to Governors, at email@example.com by the deadline of 24th January 2022.
After the closing date, responses will be collated and reviewed by the Admissions Committee who will make a recommendation to the Governing Body. They will decide whether to proceed with the proposed changes. Once determined the final admission arrangements will be placed on the school’s website at http://www.maldenparochial.co.uk.
