School Fund

What is the Governors' School Fund?

As a voluntary aided Church of England school the improvement and maintenance of our school buildings is funded by the Diocese of Southwark, via its SDBE Development & Maintenance scheme. This acts like an insurance policy, whereby the school needs to contribute a small amount each year in order to access a much larger pool of funding.

Like other church schools our contributions to the Diocese Development & Maintenance scheme are paid from the governors' school fund, whose sole source of funding is voluntary contributions made by parents.  Any surplus funds raised can, at the discretion of the governors, be used to support the school directly with various projects.

We ask that parents or carers contribute a recommended amount of £60 to £120 per child per year into the fund, which can be paid monthly or annually. By making this small contribution, equivalent to £5 to £10 per month, you are helping the school to invest in and maintain its school buildings and facilities to create a safe, secure and engaging learning environment for your children. If you are a UK taxpayer please also complete a gift aid declaration so that we can claim an additional 25p for every £1 donated.

How to Pay:

We'd like to extend a huge thank you to those parents who have already contributed to the fund this year. If you haven't yet, please consider contributing using the button below.
