Reception 2027 Admission Consultation
Consultation on Proposed Admissions Policy for entry in September 2027
Malden Parochial Church of England Primary School is consulting on proposed changes to its Admissions Policy for September 2027. The consultation will run for six weeks, from 1 December 2025 to 12 January 2026.
Key proposed changes include:

Removal of criteria viii which gave priority to non-worshippers living in the parish over all families living outside the parish

Addition of criteria v and vii which give priority to families who are faithful and regular worshippers at St Johns and who live outside the parish boundary but close to the school (within a 1km radius of the main school gate).

Reception (and in-year) Applications
If you would like to apply for a place in our Reception class (or any other year group) please ensure you complete the online application process through your local council. If you would like to apply under a Church criteria, please complete the Supplementary Information Form for the correct academic year which can be found below. More information regarding our criteria can be found on the Reception Admissions Policy.
Nursery Applications
If you would like to apply for a place in our Nursery class, please complete the Admissions Form for the correct academic year. Our Nursery Admissions information can be found here.
We also require two proofs of address, less than three months old i.e. utility bill, bank statement, council tax bill (we do not accept phone bills). Please also provide a copy of your child's birth certificate and/or passport. These can be emailed or handed in person to the school office.
